The Neighbor's Dog

Two days ago the neighbor and his dog were walking in front of our house and I walked outside to get the groceries out of the car.

I just met him recently and he said he heard I played golf.

I grabbed the grocery bags from the trunk and sat down to talk to him and put the bags on the ground. He began to say that he wanted to get to know me better, when all of a sudden, his dog lifted his hind quarters and peed on my groceries!

Wow, was he embarrassed. He couldn't believe it and was so sorry that he offered to go to the store and buy what the dog peed on, but luckily it had only gotten on the outside of the bags, so I let him off the hook.
