Feeling Naked In Public

Ever have that dream where you are out in public naked for all to see?

Well, it happened to me ... well kinda ;)

I was in the 5th grade and very conscious of the changes my body was undergoing; I was even wearing a bra.

A neighborhood bully who was in my class at school saw my bra hanging on the clothes line and taunted me. He said he was going to tell the entire class!

Being so self-conscious about it, I was not happy at all.

When I went to school the next day and walked into the classroom, everyone was staring at me and whispering. I just knew that bully had said something!

Sure enough, one of the students (a cute little redhead boy who had a crush on me) came up to my desk and tried to be supportive.

He said, "Buddy told everyone you are wearing a bra, but don't worry, I didn't believe him."

Oh my goodness, talk about a back-handed compliment! LOL

The class heard everything, and giggles were rippling through the room, I sat red-faced and embarrassed and ready to kill both of them!

Needless to say I got through the day, and the rest of the classes, but I never forgot those supportive words!
